Breakfast: It’s a beautiful day. We’re eating out again. Out on the terrace. I made Buckwheat Crêpes with Strawberry Coulis, Gary sliced up the sweet, ripe, juicy Pears.
It’s a beautiful sight to behold and even better to eat.
Lunch: Today’s salad is Kale, with Millet, Grated Carrots, Olives and Lemon Hemp Seed Dressing.
Evening: I took it easy most of the day getting ready to sing in a concert of music by Leonard Bernstein in the evening. After the concert I was so hungry! It takes a lot of energy to sing those high notes. We don’t eat pasta very often and I thought it would be a nice treat, like a piece of cake. I cooked some Brown Rice Pasta and made a quick stew with water, Dried Mushrooms, and the leftover cooked Vegetables and Rice from our restaurant outing two days ago. I put it all together in a big bowl. When I finished it, I had a little more plain pasta. Gary opted out of the pasta saying that his “cake” was a bottle of beer.
