What Vegans Eat – Day 1486

First Meal: On paper, red eye flight seem so efficient. You spend the day wherever you are, get on the plane to sleep and arrive at your destination in the morning. The only problem is you feel awful the day you land, all day long. When I arrived home, I unpacked, went through the mail and shredded the unnecessary pieces and finally sat down to eat. There is not much here, just enough. I made some Hemp Milk, blending organic Hemp Seeds and water. There was about 1/2 cup of organic Rolled Oats and Raisins too. In the freezer there were a few bags of berries. I chose the organic Blueberries. I took out some of the food I had frozen to defrost it and eat later and started some Yellow Split Peas soaking.

Second Meal:
I tried to take a nap but could not fall asleep. I got up to eat some more. I made a soup of a dish I had frozen with Green Beans, Peas, Carrots, Corn and Red Onions. I also defrosted a Green Juice made with organic Kale, organic Celery, organic Carrots and organic Lemon.

Third Meal:
It’s been a rough day, unsuccessfully trying to get some sleep. I watched the new documentary called, Period.End of Sentence., which was excellent. I highly recommend it! Then started the first season of The Crown on Netflix since I could not sleep. It was a rare time to relax and watch the tube. Except it’s not a tube anymore, it’s a screen. I cooked the organic Yellow Split Peas and took a small bowl and topped it with Nutritional Yeast.

Dessert: I need something more, something refreshing. Digging into the freezer again, I pulled out a bag of mixed organic Berries. I blended them with some organic Cocoa Powder and the Hemp Milk I made earlier to make a frozen treat.
