What Vegans Eat – Day 1574

First Meal: Oh what a beautiful morning. Oh what a beautiful day! Gary made his Blueberry Bread, gluten-free of course. It was served with Apricot Butter and Earth Balance Flowers along with Teeccino and Soy Milk. Gary’s mom’s Ralph Lauren Wedgewood dishes look even better on her pink cotton placemats. We are enjoying being able to make use of her treasures and keeping her memory in our thoughts.

 
Second Meal:
After Gary came home from a long walk I suggested walking to Green Zenphony. We arrived just before 4pm so the lunch menu was available. Gary ordered Hot & Sour Soup.

 
I love the Miso Soup.

 
For our main dishes, I ordered the Triple Mushroom & Bean Curd Deluxe and Gary got adventurous and tried the Pineapple Veggie Duck.

 
We gave our order to a new server. Afterwards, one of the servers who had been there a long time came by and said “don’t you want to get some greens?” She knows us well. We always get a big plate of the sautéed Pea Pod Leaves or Chinese Broccoli. Today was no different. We finished up with fresh oranges. That was it for the day.
