What Vegans Eat – Day 1607

First Meal: The big family day was here. My sister came up from Florida with her husband and her son drove all the way with his girlfriend and his dog. My brother came with his wife and two kids. The plan was to meet at P.F. Chang’s. It was surprising to see very little traffic on the roads and the restaurant was pretty empty. I ordered the Buddha’s Feast with the sauce on the side.

 
Gary got the Ma Po Tofu.

 
After lunch we went to mom’s where she had Watermelon and Pineapple with Strawberries and Oranges out on the coffee table. Gary and I went to the pool with my niece and two nephews. This was the best part of the day.
 
Snack: After my brother left, my sister’s family and my mom heated up their leftovers from lunch. Gary and I nibbled on gluten-free crackers and fresh Strawberries.

 
Second Meal: It had been hard prepping for this event, cleaning mom’s house and getting her new guest room ready for her guests. Now it was over and I could relax. Gary and I had a very yummy bowl of seasoned organic Black Beans, organic Corn and organic Brown Rice, topped with organic Almond Ricotta.
