First Meal: We sat down to a bowl of cool Rolled Oats with Apples, Raisins, Coconut, Walnuts, Sunflower Seeds, Flax Seeds, Bananas and Soy Milk. Gary remarked, “How many thousands of bowls of Oats have we eaten?” We still love it.
Second Meal: It’s a special day. We went into Manhattan and Gary opened a new bank account. Afterwards we went to Blossom on Columbus for lunch. We had walked a lot first and came into the restaurant hot and parched. We had sparkling water.
Gary chose a Quinoa Salad with Tofu.
I chose the Portabello Mushroom Sandwich. I can’t get enough of Roasted Vegetables right now and this dish had a pile of them. It seems you pay about 30% more to eat out on the Upper West Side but sometimes it’s worth the indulgence.
Third Meal:And there was still more pie! It makes a great appetizer.
I can’t seem to get enough of these Roasted Veggie Sandwiches, especially with Gary’s Creamy Pesto and Baked Tofu.
