What Vegans Eat – Day 1757

First Meal: It’s our Better-Than-A-Hotel Breakfast. Gary sliced and toasted the remainder of the fresh bread I made a few days ago and put out a bowl of sweet, ripe Pears and crispy Apples.

 
Second Meal: I had my radio show today and I am meeting one of my guests in the studio. Gary and I made an appointment uptown beforehand and we walked to the studio together in the chilly air. After the program, we hesitated for a few seconds before decided to have dinner at Franchia. We started with the mixed Pancakes Appetizer, consisting of Sweet Corn Cilantro, Scallion & spicy Kimchi Pancakes.

 
Gary had the Pho Noodles Soup, with Vietnamese Rice Noodles, Soy Beef, Basil and Bean Sprouts in Veggie Broth.

 
I chose the Zen Noodles with Coconut Tomato Dill Sauce, a new dish with Korean Rice Noodles, Cauliflower, Mushrooms, Asparagus, and Soy Beef in Coconut Tomato Dill Sauce. This restaurant is always very good.
