What Vegans Eat – Day 1766

Share

Green Juice: We walked to the Oral Surgeon today to see about Gary’s tooth that lost a filling. An appointment has been made for an extraction next week. Gary’s lucky, he had had little work done on his teeth. This is the first major tooth event for him. Afterwards we walked home stopping at Ripe for green juices. We get the Achilles made with Celery, Spinach, Parsley, Broccoli and Cucumber.

Second Meal: And then we kept walking. We needed to buy groceries but weren’t in the mood just yet. Tomorrow is another day, another day for grocery shopping. We kept walking west to Green Zenphony. We were greeted with such warmth from the owner Wendy. She gave me a hung! I was touched. I got my favorite Clay Pot Fish Soup. All vegan with Cabbage, Tofu and Soy Fish wrapped in Nori.

The sensational Gary chose another sensational dish: Orange Sensation, a platter of crispy Wheat Seitan stirred fried in an Orange Flavored Sauce with Asparagus, String Beans and Red Bell Peppers.

Third Meal: For an evening snack I finished Gary’s leftovers from Plant-Wise of Hummus and Guacamole served on Lundberg’s Red Rice and Quinoa Thin Stackers.
