What Vegans Eat – Day 1783


First Meal: Soaked Oats this morning with Apples, Raisins, and Flax Seeds. We were planning to visit a location in Connecticut in the morning and then return to go to a party n White Plains at 4pm. But then I realized that the party was at 1pm so we rescheduled going to Connecticut. I didn’t like the feeling of making that mistake. I was certain I had checked the invitation a bunch of times and it said 4pm. WRONG!

The party was fun with old friends and good conversations. There was lots of food, just not the food we eat. There were a couple of small boxes vegan sushi that I nibbled on and lots of tea with Oatly Oat Milk on the side.
Second Meal: When we got home we went straight to Green Zenphony. We were hungry once again. Gary had the ean Curd Platter Supreme with bean curd, wheat veggie beef sun dried tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, basis & broccoli rabe in a special seasoning.

I chose the Sizzling Wonder with roasted soy fish fillets nestled over a bed of fresh mushrooms tomatoes, snow peas, broccoli & bean sprouts in special sauce.

Third Meal: For a late night sweet dish we had a little homemade Apple Sauce.
