Breakfast: Yay! We made our Light and Crispy Oat Waffles with Apple/Banana Compote and English Breakfast Tea.
Daily Green Juice: I sipped on the last jar of defrosted green juice (with Kale, Collards, Carrots, Lime, Lemon) that I had made and frozen last week while making a new batch for the week.
Lunch: I was recording my IT’S ALL ABOUT FOOD show with Judith Haskins and Élise Desaulniers in the Manhattan studio and then meeting Fran Costigan to see a Broadway show afterwards. I brought my lunch with me, a bottle of home brewed Kukitcha Tea, leftover Kale Frittata and Baked Home Fries and ate and drank while watching all the people in Times Square. It was a great show!
I met up with Fran afterwards. The company was fabulous; the show, not so fabulous. We left at intermission and headed over to Sardi’s to catch up. I had a Stella Artois, a Belgium Beer, which thanks to Barnivore.com, I know is vegan-friendly.
Dinner: I came home and was happy to have a big bowl of cabbage vegetable soup ready for me as I reviewed the day with Gary. Then we treated ourselves to some Almond Biscotti and Graham Crackers that we had made for our Halloween Food Show.
