What Vegans Eat – Day 270


Breakfast: Fruity Waffles are back! We make a lot of waffles here at Responsible Eating And Living Headquarters and we all agree that these are the best. A REAL waffle winner.
Daily Green Juice: Kale, Carrots, Celery, Lemon, Lime
Dinner: We first tried Green Zenphony a few days ago. We did not go to the restaurant, we ordered in. It was very good and our excitement for a vegan restaurant in the neighborhood had been restored since the former restaurant, Simple Veggie had closed. Now it was time to eat at the restaurant. While we reviewed the menu we nibbled on some Chinese Slaw.
We love big noodle soups and ended up ordering the same soups we had last week. For me it was the Roasted Veggie Duck Noodle Soup with Mai Fun, a Rice Vermicelli.
Gary went with the Roasted Veggie Pork Noodle Soup with Chow Fun, the flat, shiny, and wide noodles.
And we shared the String Beans dish.
Everything was fabulous. And looking at the pictures I want to go back right now!
