What Vegans Eat – Day 282


Breakfast: My computer, sadly, is in the shop. As a result, there will be a few less pictures in my posts for the next few days. This particular morning’s breakfast was satisfying and delicious, but not worthy of a photo anyway! I took a lot of cooked chickpeas and warmed them up in leftover French Onion Soup broth from the day before, which was just water, red wine and miso. Mmm, mmm, good.
Daily Green Juice: Kale, Collards, Carrots, Celery, Lime
Dinner: In support of the new vegan restaurant in our neighborhood, Green Zenphony we ordered in. I thought I would try something new. I am sure many would like this dish, but it was not what I was expecting and a bit too gooey sweet for my taste. The good news is that they had Chinese Broccoli. Gary was smart and ordered his favorite Roasted Veggie Pork Noodle Soup.
Evening: Rooibos Vanilla Almond Tea
