Breakfast: The breakfast began with the remaining few pieces of Corn Bread, Prune Butter and Chai Tea with a little Cashew Cream. When we run out of soy milk, we usually treat ourselves to a homemade nut milk.
Fortunenately Gary cooked a little Oatmeal to fill out the meal. I piled on the Flax Seeds.
Daily Green Juice: Kale, Collards, Celery, Carrots
Dinner: After a long day with a lot of physical activity we went for a long run and then walked over to Green Zenphony. I tried one of the Chinese New Year specials: Portobello Mushroom in a Pepper Sauce on a bed of Greens with Golden Bricks. The Bricks were delicate squares of soft tofu, made crispy on the outside. It was a spectacular dish!
The Stir fried Pea Pod Leaves were never better and they are always excellent!
Gary went with the Veggie Beef Chow Fun, also superb.
Evening: The holiday of Purim had begun. We celebrated with Hamentashen cookies of course!
