What Vegans Eat – Day 431


Breakfast: “Waaah,” I cried, “Nobody cut my grapefruit!” Okay, I was kidding but it was funny. Gary is a perfectionist and always serves grapefruit beautifully cut and ready to enjoy with a simple spoon. Only this time he forgot. It was remedied immediately
The perfect grapefruit was followed by perfect Oatmeal served with Strawberries, Bananas, Walnuts, Flax Seeds and Cashew Milk.
Daily Green Juice: Kale Collards, Celery, Carrots.
Lunch: When I got home, Gary had so much to tell me. One thing he started to do was make tahini fresh from sesame seeds. He prepared a batch for our lunch salad. Incredible!
Dinner: After working all day finishing up the taxes it was time for a dinner celebration. We had guacamole served in a wooden bowl – shouldn’t all guacamole be served this way?
Then there was Gary’s Lasagna Al Forno that he had made a few days ago and I missed. I had mine with lots of extra Spicy Marina and Green Beans. We unwound with some Organic Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout.
Evening: It’s good to be home. We completed the day with Mint tea.
