Breakfast: I am working with John and Ocean Robbins on a health and wellness course. We planned a full day of work for today and tomorrow. I had a quick bowl of Rolled Oats, Strawberries, Walnuts and Soy Milk and was on my way to Santa Cruz.
Lunch: John’s wife Deo nourished us all day long with tasty, love-filled food. As she put the finishing touches on her Rainbow Slaw, she asked me to set the table. I had fun with the colorful plates and napkins.
Along with the Slaw we had Corn Thins (popped corn cakes) schmeared with The Cultured Kitchen’s yummy Pepper Jack Cashew Reserve. I never tried Corn Thins before and I love them.
Next up we had a creamy split pea soup.
During one of our breaks we were treated to a Tofu Berry Pie!
Finally, after a long day of concentration and a lot of talking, we soothed our throats with hydrating, fresh fruits, watermelon, strawberries, bananas and grapes.
Daily Green Juice: Gary picked up a green juice for me at the Whole Foods in Los Gatos. I needed it!
Dinner: It’s a Monday but I’m calling it Slaw Day, since I had slaw for lunch and another slaw for dinner. Gary’s sister-in-law Tammy brought home some organic Broccoli Slaw and Gary tossed it with some vinegar and sesame oil and topped it with Green Beans and Sweet Potatoes. I never liked raw broccoli but prepared like this it was crunchy and good. The flavor was not as intense somehow. Happy Slaw Day everybody.
