Breakfast: We had Steel Cut Oats with Blueberries, Walnuts and Flax Seeds, along with Ruby Red Grapefruit and English Breakfast Tea, while discussing what Gary loved about the playwright Anton Chekhov.
Lunch: Gary made a quick stew made with cooked Black Beans, Tofu, Avocado, Tomatoes and Red Onions.
Afternoon Tea:
I had made a Teavana Tea the night before that seemed a bit too syrupy when served hot. I chilled it overnight and served it after working out, it was delicious and refreshing, made with Rooibos and Dried Berries. We were off to Alameda to see the musical, The Light in the Piazza at the Altarena Playhouse, directed by my friend Stewart, starring his wife Donna. We left at about 5:30pm, with no dinner, since the drive through rush hour traffic was anticipated to be long. We arrived at about 7:15pm for an 8pm show.
Evening: After the show we were very hungry. Fortunately the trip back to Monte Sereno was only about 45 minutes. We made a quick meal of Corn Thins, Peanut Butter, Grapes, Cherries
