What Vegans Eat – Day 536: Special Travel Edition

Lunch: Knowing I had an appointment with my friend Deo for a Santa Cruz beach walk and lunch at Dharma’s in Aptos I skipped breakfast and left early to get over the hill. The traffic was as bad as I expected but fortunately it eased up as soon as I passed Los Gatos. After a lovely walk on the beach we were both so hungry. I ordered the Mediterranean Salad with a side of Mashed Potatoes and Gravy to share and a cool glass of Wild Berry Zinger Iced Tea.

Deo got the gooey Teriyaki Tempeh Burger with Carrot Juice.

Dinner: Gary made a simple dinner of Brown Rice and a sauté of Broccoli, Tomatoes and Red Onions. For dessert I ate several ripe and juicy Nectarines.
