What Vegans Eat – Day 544: Special Travel Edition


Breakfast: As it gets closer to the reading of Gary’s new play, we stay up later and later, reading and rehearsing. As a result we get up a little later in the morning, so there’s no need for breakfast. We have tea. Irish Breakfast Tea with Soy Milk.
Lunch: Of course when it’s lunch time we are really hungry. We walked to downtown Los Gatos and went to Andalé for the new usual – Andalé Fahita-Style Tofu Burritos with their Passion Fruit-infused Ice Tea. This is the kind of lunch that sticks to your ribs. That sated feeling lasts all day.
Daily Green Juice: Kale, Celery, Cucumber and lots of Lemon.
Dinner: Not really up for dinner, but wanting something fresh and hydrating we made Fruit Smoothies with ALmond Milk, Blueberries and Strawberries.
Evening: It was late again when we started rehearsing. Gary made a little gorp with Pumpkin Seeds, Sunflower Seeds, Raisins and Dark Chocolate Chips to keep us going.
