What Vegans Eat – Day 545: Special Travel Edition


Breakfast: One day left before the reading. Also one week before we return to New York. It’s time to finish up the food we have left in the pool house while nourishing us for the next 48 hour push. I made a Brown Rice Cereal – Brown Rice Cooked with Cinnamon, Raisins and Sunflower Seeds, mixed with Soy Milk and Chia Seeds and served with Irish Breakfast Tea.
Daily Green Juice: Kale, Celery, Cucumber and Lots of Lemon.
Dinner: Early evening we were ready for some BIG FOOD. That could only mean one thing – The Vegetarian House. We got all of our favorites starting with Jasmine Tea and a large Flying Buddha Soup.
A large Heavenly Salad.
And the Spicy Cha Cha which was extra spectacular. It had more garlic than normal and smelled and tasted fantastic.
Evening: We got back to the pool house for our last rehearsal before the reading of Gary’s play, Bad Hemingway By The Bay which requires snacks. We had some Red Lentil Cheesy Spread left over from a few nights before that I spread on Corn Thins.
