What Vegans Eat – Day 597


Breakfast: We made our most favorite waffle recipe, Fruity Waffles. Sometimes we make other recipes for waffles for variety but then when we have these, we remember they are the best. The recipes makes about 8-10 Belgian style waffles, the thick kind so for us, that means enough for tomorrow. Can’t wait. They are especially good with Raspberry Coulis.
Daily Green Juice: Kale, Collards, Celery, Carrots, Ginger, Lemon.
Dinner: We did some major house cleaning today. Often when everything is so clean and shiny it seems a shame to muss it up to make a meal. After sitting and enjoying the peaceful beauty while drinking tea we decided to dine at Green Zenphony. I got the Bean Curd Delight, a sizzling platter of bean curd, tomatoes, Chinese cabbage, snow peas, shiitake mushrooms, bamboo shoots & basil, showered with Chinese barbecue sauce.

We got the Stir Fried Pea Pod Leaves as always and the owner Wendy assured us she picked up those greens fresh in the morning.
Gary got his current favorite dish, Veggie Beef Chow Fun.
And we were served a plate of Orange Slices. Just right!
