What Vegans Eat – Day 675


Breakfast: Yesterday I made Buckwheaties. They are a special treat for me. I had an early appointment in Manhattan. I let Gary catch up on his sleep and adjust his time zones after his quick California trip. A bowl of Buckwheaties with Soy Milk, Raisins and Banana got me off to a good start.
Lunch: When I got home and we had worked intensely for a while, I announced we should dine at Green Zenphony. We took advantage of their lunch menu. We ordered three dishes, each came with soup. We ordered one of each: Hot & Sour, Miso and Wonton. They are all good but Hot & Sour is my favorite.
I chose the Veggie Beef, Bean Curd with Tomato and Basil. Gary went with his classic, the Veggie Beef Chow Fun. He also ordered some Sauteed Eggplant with Spicy Ginger Sauce. We tuned into the music coming from the restaurant speakers, Nights in White Satan, (the 1967 single by the Moody Blues) on pan flute.

A few oranges for a sweet taste is nice way to complete a meal.
Daily Green Juice: Kale, Collards, Cabbage, Celery, Lemon, Ginger.
Dinner: We ordered too much from Green Zenphony and brought the Eggplant dish home. Gary prepared it for dinner for me adding some Broccoli to it.
