Breakfast: Gary made me a cup of Fire Walker Cacoco. This may be my new favorite way to start the day. We had bananas and oranges and went off to rehearsal.
Dinner: We needed to do some grocery shopping. It’s better to eat first before buying food, right? Of course, right! So we went to the Vegetarian House. We started with the usual favorites – Heavenly Salad.
And Flying Buddha Soup.
I had made up my mind to try something new. The Golden Thai Vegetables were recommended so we got this dish with Pumpkin, Broccoli, Mushroom, Eggplant, Green Beans, Carrots, Cauliflower, Red Bell Pepper in a spicy Thai Lemongrass Sauce with Coconut Milk. We ordered too much so there will be leftovers Yay!
With Valentine’s Day coming up, Gary surprised me with a box of Sjaak’s Chocolates. They sell them at the Vegetarian House.
Evening: We did our grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s and headed back to the pool house. I could not wait to try the chocolates. I picked three and cut them each in half to share with Gary. He insisted the chocolates were a gift for me and he wouldn’t touch them! I had to eat them all.
A little later he came out with a plate of Peanut Butter/Banana “Quesadillas” made with sliced bananas and peanut butter inside an Ezekiel Sprouted Grain Tortilla and sliced in triangles. They were gooey good.
hi,
