Breakfast: After a disaster day of eating, I wanted to make sure we had healthy food with us to keep us going during another long, evening dress rehearsal for Fiddler on the Roof. We open tomorrow! I finished the soup Gary had made me yesterday with Vegetable Broth, Corn/Quinoa Pasta, Spinach, Tofu and Red Onions.
Lunch: Before rehearsal we went to Whole Foods. We picked up a couple of Campbell Blend Green Juices with Kale, Parsley, Celery, Carrots and Ginger. I also got two Build-Your-Own burritos with Brown Rice, Black Beans, Salsa, Corn Salad, Cilantro and Lettuce. They are heavy logs of serious food. We got to the theater early in the afternoon to try and get everything finished before we started at 6pm. Our friend Janet from New York surprised us with a visit. She was in town to see the show and help out. I met her at the theater and shared some of my burrito with her. Our producer also made a big pot of Vegetable Soup for the cast and there was plenty of fresh fruit as well.
We celebrated a cast member’s birthday with vegan German Chocolate Cake form Whole Foods.
Dinner: Fortunately the last dress rehearsal went reasonably well. We got back to the pool house and Gary ate his Burrito.
Evening: Gary made me Corn Thins with Peanut Butter and Agave for dessert with Mint Lavender Tea.
