Breakfast: You’ve seen Steel Cut Oats with Bananas and Apricots here before. Today, I’m calling it brain food. Doesn’t it look like a brain? These are nutritious foods that help power the brain. I need power right now – a lot of it. I’ve been taking my dad to different doctors because he has a serious health problem. We have appointments coming up all week so my brain needed to be firing on all cylinders. Thank you brain food.
Dinner: After spending the day catching up on some work, evening rolled around and I realized I hadn’t had any lunch. The brain food not only kept me sharp under pressure but it also sustained my body until dinner. It was definitely time for a walk to our favorite neighborhood restaurant, Green Zenphony. Gary ordered the Veggie Pork Ribs.
I was craving the Soy Fish in Clay Pot. I had it once before and it became my Green Zenphony favorite.
We must have our greens. This time it’s Chinese Broccoli.
Gary took a while to choose his main dish but he settled on the Veggie Pork Noodle Soup.
A complimentary small plate of Watermelon finished the meal.
