What Vegans Eat – Day 1228, Travel Edition – Bay Area, CA

Breakfast: Every day should begin with Teeccino with Soy Foam, made by Gary. It’s the best. What a treat, especially when served with Steel Cut Oats topped with Almond Ricotta. This is the good life.

Lunch: It’s a dream come true. Gary and I went to the Crepe Bistro together. We had both been there separately and both fell in love with it. This is our new hangout. I had the Garden Crepe with Roasted Eggplant, Tomatoes, Olives, Roasted Bell Peppers, and Arugula with housemade Vegan Pesto. Gary chose the Avocado Crepe with Avocado, Carrots, Tomatoes, Spinach, and Onions with Lemon Tahini Sauce. We both had the Fusion Crepe which is gluten-free. I think it is a Garbanzo Bean Flour base. I like the Buckwheat better and will get that next time.

Snack: We are between two houses transitioning from Gary’s sister’s home who is coming back from a trip to Europe, to my friend Susan’s home while her family is in China. Susan left some Apricots for us to enjoy.
