First Meal: BOO! It’s Halloween. Gary and I had struggled for weeks trying to decide what are costumes would be and if we should have a party. In the end we decided not to decide and there’s no party and no costumes. And that’s okay. I had plenty to do in the morning. We had a simple breakfast of Avocado and Tomato on Corn Tortillas.
I went to visit some friends at the Hospice Inn in Melville. The one who is dying is having a birthday today. It’s very sad. He was sleeping when I arrived. I sat with his girlfriend and his siblings for a while and we made handmade birthday cards for him. Then I went to visit my mom. The last stop was Whole Foods to pick up some Miyoko’s Vegan Mozz and a few other staples. We’re making Pizza for Halloween.
Second Meal: I came home hungry. We had all the good food leftover from yesterday’s dinner, Marinated Tempeh.
I topped the Kale Salad with my homemade Sauerkraut.
Gary had decorated the apartment with things for Halloween. We have a Blue Hubbard Sqaush that he surrounded with black candles. Cool, right?
Halloween Candy: Here are the treats we are giving out. All from the NaturalCandyStore.com.
Third Meal: I got started making pizza crusts. Gary had made the sauce. We topped them with Yellow Bell Peppers, Zucchini and Basil. Mine got Shiitake Mushrooms.
Gary’s got extra cheese.
