Breakfast: Tomorrow is my birthday, and we have so much to do before our party Saturday night! I also planned to meet my parents, brother’s family and cousin for a birthday lunch tomorrow. Am I crazy??? Yes! We had only today to prep, cook and clean up for tomorrow night’s event. Gary made a couple of quick bowls of Rolled Oats, with Bananas and Raisins to start the day.
Daily Green Juice: Kale, Collards, Celery, Carrots, Lemon, Ginger
Dinner: This was a difficult day. We had many recipes to make. Normally I feel a flow in the kitchen when going from one dish to the next. Today, nothing seemed to be going right! I finally took a break from working and finished the Kale Salad I had made yesterday. Then I got back to work.
Afterwards, while I iced the Carrot Cake, we sampled the mini burgers with Cheese Sauce and homemade Burger Buns.
Evening: Making meringue for the pie is a little tricky. Here is Gary carefully pouring the sugar syrup into the whipped Aquafaba.
