Breakfast: Morning rituals can be quite lovely. Gary’s new morning routine includes frothing the soy milk for the hot beverages. He has been off caffeine for a while and his soy milk foam makes his caffeine-free Teeccino beverages a special treat. And sometimes I join in the fun. I topped my Vanilla Black Tea with some Soy Foam. Good morning!
The Mango was ripe. I cut it up and put it in a bowl. I thought it would go great with Almond Yogurt. It was so sweet, I could only eat a few pieces.
Snack: The weather is warming up. After coming back from our long walk, we took a break with Walnuts and Dates and a cool drink (last night’s Chamomile, Mint, Ginger, Lemon Tea – chilled).
Daily Green Juice: Kale, Celery, Carrots, Lime, Ginger.
Dinner: Dinner was perfect: Tofu Masala, a giant Romaine Lettuce Salad with Carrots and Little Seed Caesar Dressing, and the remaining Cabbage/Onion/Sweet Potato/Carrot dish from yesterday.
Evening: I promised I would make Del Sroufe’s Doughnut recipe again, only gluten-free. And I did! We made two batches, one with yeast (per Gary’s recommendation) and one with baking powder. The yeasted ones were lighter, both were very good. I modified the recipe with the gluten-free and yeast additions.
