Breakfast: I love PSP toast. PSP stands for Purple Sweet Potatoes. I love them! We made some Baked Sweet Potato Toast yesterday and had many slices leftover for breakfast along with Pumpkin Seed Crusted Tofu. It was a sumptuous savory meal. We put Peanut Butter and Bananas on our PSP toast. Dinner: Gary…
Breakfast: I was looking forward to this day for a long time. Gary and I were meeting Dale and Bobby. I knew Dale all of my life, my first friend. Our families lived next door in the same apartment building in Bronxville. We were meeting in Hoboken, NJ. I didn’t realize it until this morning…
Breakfast: We enjoyed a lovely Sunday morning with Buckwheat Pancakes, Fruit Coulis, Bananas and Peanut Butter while listening to a Cello Concerto by Haydn on WQXR. Lunch: It’s Mother’s Day and Gary and I took my mom to lunch. We chose P.F. Chang’s because she loved it there the last time we went out.…
Breakfast: I got up and was ready to celebrate the beautiful morning with Pancakes! I whipped up a batter of Buckwheat Pancakes, with freshly ground buckwheat flour in the Vitamix made with buckwheat groats. Brunch: After a few hours sleep I got on a plane home to New York. Gary was ready, greeting me with Maté Chocolatte! And the kitchen smelled good! He was preparing brunch for me on the terrace. We haven’t “eaten out” for a long time. It was a gorgeous morning. Baby birds were chirping.…
Breakfast: I couldn’t wait to get out and run again this morning. I made sure I drank a lot before leaving the house and I didn’t run as long as yesterday. I felt good when I returned and ready to eat. There was plenty of Kale Salad from yesterday. After Lori took some for her…

Breakfast: I was spending today visiting at a hospital. I wasn’t hungry in the morning when I left but I knew there wouldn’t be anything to eat so I prepared my breakfast and lunch. When I was hungry I enjoyed this bowl of Soaked Oats with Soy Milk, Blueberries, Pumpkin Seeds, Walnuts and Cacao nibs.…
Breakfast: I appreciate my calm, easy mornings! The Food Revolution Summit has ended and I am no longer on a schedule. I enjoy working when I want to work, which tends to be pretty much all day anyway! Gary set out the Oatmeal Bar where we could each add our own toppings. I had everything!…
